關於講者:
Torben Nielsen has been teaching, examining and conducting ELT teacher training in locations such as Australia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines and Taiwan since 2000. Previously completing formal studies in Developmental Psychology and holding the position of a Senior Coordinator for the largest private ESL School in Australia, Torben is now extending his professional academic ELT experience in the classroom by conducting teacher training seminars all over eastern Asia. His interests include reading strategies and examinations, recently completing an IELTS publication and working as a certified Cambridge Examiner for adults and young learners. Currently, he is based in Taipei as an ELT Product Specialist for Cengage Learning.

關於主題:
In the workshop, teachers can now create an engaging language learning environment, which can provide learners with competency-based support for building language, life and work skills in real-world settings. This workshop will demonstrate how students can successfully explore language and work/life skills easily through motivating teaching techniques.
Teachers will learn a range of communicative teaching ideas using both print and audio/visual technology resources, and understand how language learning can still be both productive and fun for students, even at college-level
